Robert Oral "Bob" Howl, 93, was born in Oklahoma City, OK on December 11, 1931. He passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Gaffney) Howl, and his son, Robert Michael Howl.
Surviving are six children: Maura Howl of Sarasota, FL, Donna Courtney of Summerville, SC, Catherine Howl of St. Louis, MO, Larry (Karen) Howl of Boulder, CO, Elizabeth (John) Madry of Virginia Beach, VA and Cynthia (Antonio Martinez) Howl of Denver, CO; two granddaughters, Allison (Duvin) Bentley of Norfolk, VA, and Lauren (Evan Myers) Howl of Clarksville, TN; one great-granddaughter, Iyanna Bentley; and his second wife, M. Susan Howl of Port Washington, WI.
Bob lived in Stanford with Elizabeth and their seven children from 1968-1985, and made his career as a computer systems analyst at State Farm Insurance corporate headquarters in Bloomington. In 1985, he and Susan relocated to Bloomington, and later retired in Port Washington, WI.
He is a Korean War combat Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Bob's memorial service with military honors was on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Mequon, WI.

Bob was a friend at State Farm.
When he came to State Farm I trained him and worked with him for many years, I believe it was systems for Health insurance claims.
He was a great worker and friend.
