Sally Marie Kauffman

CHENOA - Sally Marie Kauffman, 80, of Chenoa, passed away at 11:54 p.m., September 22, 2024, at The Lodge at Evenglow, Pontiac.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Fr. David Sabel will be officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, also at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made the The Lodge at Evenglow, Pontiac.
Sally was born March 31, 1944, in Pontiac, the daughter of William and Elma (Stephenson) Tinges. She married Charles D. Kauffman on August 29, 1964, in Chenoa. He died February 12, 2017.
Surviving are her son, Kyle Kauffman of New York City, NY; daughter, Krista (Jason) Sullivan of Chenoa; granddaughter, Kaylee Sullivan of Chenoa; and sister, Shirley Stymiest of Manville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Sally was a secretary at Evergreen FS in Chenoa retiring after 28 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chenoa.
Sally enjoyed and was a talented quilter. She loved horseback riding and camping in Eminence, MO, with her family. As a family, the Kauffman's enjoyed raising and showing draft horses.
Sally poured into and loved her family deeply. She will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear Sally passed away!! I worked at FS in Bloomington office for 31 years!! Sally and Chuck were great people and friends all those years!!
