Roger Moor Obituary

Roger Lewis Moor Jr. was born on December 5, 1963 to Roger and Patricia (Requarth) Moor, and passed away in Taft on June 18, 2008.

Roger even though he might have been a bit of a rebel at times, was known for his impeccable work as a welder, he was a stickler for perfection. He loved welding so much, he even welded on top of high rises in Montana, and one particular time, he stood on top of a high rise without any safety equipment and praised his work. Not only did Roger enjoy what he did for a living, he also had many hobbies. If Roger was not working or welding something, he liked to play the guitar, go hunting and also do some fly fishing in his spare time.

Roger is survived by his parents Roger and Patricia Moor, his children Brandice, Braun, Brian, June, Ian, Ely and Buddy III; his stepchildren; Nicole Truitt, Tiffany Griffith and Gary Valc; Brothers Michael, John and Tad. He is also survived by his great-grandmother Lucille Auchmuty, aunts and uncles Edith and Bill King, Marty and Rori Blackwood, Barbara and Bob McDonald; Cousins Mark and Robin Leonard, Randy Simon, Chase, Hailey and Amanda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Roger will be missed by all that knew him and loved him, but he will never be forgotten.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the following people; Taft College Cafeteria Staff, Jeff, Cindy, Kathy, Heather and the rest of the staff, Mr. Kenny Howell, Larry H. and Cole L.

At the request of the family, services are private. West Side Memorial Services – Porteous Family in Taft have been entrusted with the arrangements. You may sign the online guestbook at www.westsidememorialservices.com
