Bobby L. McMillian, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at his home in Humble, Texas. He was 80 years old.
Bobby was born on July 27, 1936 to James Russell and Mary Mae McMillian in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He was preceeded in death by: his parents; brother, Larry McMillian; first wife, Kasumi and infant son, Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife, Ruby Jean McMillian; and sisters, Delores Raines, Gladstone, Missouri, Joyce Howard; and brother, Jim McMillian, both of St. Joseph, Missouri. He is also survived by three children, Eldon McMillian, Mark McMillian and Mary Cooper; grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bobby served his country in U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He then was in Civil Services for 33 years.
He belonged to these organizations: VFW Post 2485 life member #1417132; American Legion Post 132 Humble #201172025; AmVets life member #1426472; Dav life member #42009099994, Chapter A, Houston.
Bobby was cremated and graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Memorial Park, St. Joseph, Missouri.
