Lula Mae Caudell Farmer Brookman, 94 passed away on December16, 2015. She was born in Toccoa ,Georgia to William and Hattie Caudell, the eldest of 7 siblings. Mae graduated from high school at 16 and moved to Atlanta where she met and married John Farmer in 1939 until his death in 1971. She was the co-founder of Farmer's Real Estate in the Pasadena area for over 40 years and the second woman in the state of Texas to be granted a Real Estate Broker's license. Mae loved reading and as a child, she read every book in her hometown library. She was a lovely and intelligent woman and knew how to make an entrance when she entered a room. She was a mentor and a guiding force that helped many people to turn their lives around. She was an inspiration to all. She was loved greatly and greatly loved. She will be missed. She is survived by 5 children. Marie Barnett and William Farmer (Annika) of Houston, Arvie Palmer (Andrew) of Destin, Fl., Evelyn Garza (Keith) of Katy, J Patrick Farmer (Kevin Hebert) of Pearland, 7 grandchildren, numerous great grand children, her brother Carlton and sisters Evelyn, Jeanette and Carole. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Farmer, her second husband Ben Brookman, her sons John and Marvin Farmer, her daughter Carol, son in law Jim Barnett, her brother William Caudell and sister Velma Ellenburg. In keeping with the wishes of Mae Brookman, there will be no funeral services.
