Bruce Raymond LaValley

Bruce Raymond LeValley was born November 6, 1948, in Sacramento California, to Raymond R. LeValley and LaVohn Hansen LeValley. Bruce passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, unexpectedly, with his wife Linda by his side. On June 9, 1979 Bruce and Linda Shields LeValey, were married at Fort Hood, Texas where at the time Bruce was serving as a Captain in the United States Army.

Bruce graduated in 1966 from El Camino High School, Sacramento Ca., with an Associates Degree in Business, served for a period of time as an enlisted person in the Army, and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from McKendree College in 1972. He also wrestled at American River College during his high school years and was a dedicated stage prop for the Music Circus. He was awarded his Certified Property Manager's degree (CPM) in 1995, from the Institute of Real Estate Management. He was a licensed Broker through Texas Real Estate commission from 1984 until his death.

As a Vietnam Veteran, Bruce was a company commander for the 1st Calvary Division. He left the Army on June 4, 1980 to come to Houston with his wife Linda, daughter Wendy and son James. He worked for The Vantage Company, as a Commercial Property Manager for over 10 years, when he and Linda started their own Commercial Property Management and Residential Sales company in their office at the Bank One Building in Pasadena, where the owner Gary Sexton, offered him the opportunity of a lifetime to own his own company.

They managed the Bank One Building for over 20 years, as well as many other buildings in the Pasadena, Deer Park, Baytown and Houston areas. Bruce and Linda also worked for Southmore Hospital/Memorial Hermann. Bruce built out and managed the Fairmont Medical Center from build out to completion, and managed it until the building sold five years later. This was an accomplishment he was so proud of! It allowed him to work side by with his wife, his son and his beloved daughter-in law Ronda Diane (Ray) LeValley, who preceded him in death in September 1998.

Bruce was proud to serve as the Chairman of the board for South East Economic Development(SEED), a member of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Pasadena Rotary Club, Deer Park Chamber of Commerce, and many other charitable organizations during his career. He loved Pasadena; his friends welcomed him with open arms into their community.

Bruce loved his family; they were his reason for living. All the grandkids were loved by a man that had a heart as big as Texas. His wife, kids and grandkids were the center of his very being. It didn't matter what was going on in his life, they were his priority.

Bruce was preceded in death by his loving father Raymond R. LeValley, his grandmother, Pat LeValley, Grandma and Grandpa Hansen, his daughter in law Ronda. He is survived by his wife Linda, Mother, LaVohn LeValley, his son James LeValley and wife Lisa (Sawyer) LeValley, his daughter Wendy Tise, grandchildren Matthew Tise, Adam Tise, Kristen (LeValley) Klug and husband Joshua Klug, Joshua LeValley and fiancée Alex Burke, Madison LeValley, Janee Cordray & Kelsey Cordray. His great grandchildren, Hailey Klug, & Loreli LeValley, brother Ron LeValley, wife Charlene McAllister, sister Sandy (LeValley) Yates and husband Jim Yates, sister Patti (LeValley) Stillman and husband Barry Stillman, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, & Uncles.

The family will receive friends Friday February 15, 2013 from 1-3Pm. With a memorial service being held at 3PM at Pasadena Funeral chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd. Pasadena Texas 77502.
