Carol F. Waggoner Fisk

1933 - 2021

Surrounded by her loving family, Carol Frances Waggoner Fisk, 87, died June 12, 2021, at her daughter, Teresa (Keith) Barnett's home in Conroe, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial is set for Saturday, June 26, 2021, 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas.

Carol was born on December 25th 1933, the daughter of Stephen Gose and Ann Evarts (Martin) Waggoner in Witchita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Mt. St Mary High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1951. Carol then attended St Mary's Catholic College, Leavenworth County, KS, before she married.

Carol was united in marriage to Thomas Henning Hill on August 26, 1952, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Witchita Falls, Texas. They moved to Minnesota and raised their family for 6 years in St. Paul, before moving to the farm east of Medford, MN. Carol always said her "greatest joy" was her seven children and was extremely proud of her extended family. She loved her music which included playing the piano and organ for local Catholic churches wherever she lived. She enjoyed her pets, flower gardens, paintings portraits, and mosaics. With her ever-present smile Carol made and kept friends from Wichita Falls, TX, Medford, MN, Martindale, TX, Deming, WA, and Conroe TX. Carol loved Jesus, gave generously, and served faithfully.

Carol will be missed by her children Marie (Kevin) Gallagher of Owatonna, MN, Michael (Diane) Hill of Deming, WA, Teresa (Keith) Barnett of Conroe, TX, Bruce (Claudia) Hill, Viroqua, WI, John Hill, Medford, OR, Christie (Stan) Cook, Nacogdoches, TX., 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Evarts Waggoner Walker Sowell of Georgetown, TX, brother William Martin "Bill" (Betty) Waggoner of Bedford, TX and stepchildren, Marie (Joe) Udulutch of Buckeye, AZ, and Rebecca Fisk, of Everson, WA.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Judson J Fisk, daughter, Connie McBurney, grandson, Jeffrey Hill, parents, and grandparents, Thomas Jefferson Waggoner Sr "TJ", wife Mary Frances Gose, and Edward (Gran) Gantt Martin, wife, Anna (Bama) Evarts Bennett Martin.

Carol will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
