CHARLIE CARTER, 81 passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16th, 2013. He was born on January 28th, 1932 in Texarkana, Arkansas to William Henry and Cora Bell (Kitchens) Carter. He was the second youngest of fifteen children. A resident of Pasadena, Texas for 40 years, he was an entrepreneur and the founder of Carter Sales & Service and Charlie's House. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jean Wood which he married in Odessa, Texas 57 years ago; along with his children Wayne Carter, Gail Adams and Husband Russell; grandchildren Kyle and wife Hannah, Craig, and Kurt Adams, Kirstin, Kaley, and Caden Carter. A family service will be held on September 19th, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, La Porte, Texas.

Its been many years but I remember being really fond of Uncle Charlie. He was a very fun person to be around when I was a kiddo.

Sure gonna miss uncle charlie...my fondest memory of him was as a child he used to tell me hebwas gonn cloud up and rain all over me...used to scare me...lol
