Cynthia Mofley

Cynthia Jelene Mofley, 69 of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on Friday March 4, 2016 at her Residence in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Pasadena, Texas to the late Guy and Ellie Holder on December 22, 1946. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active member of Faith Assembly of God Church — Pasadena until a medical condition required her to move near one of her sons in Rio Rancho, NM. Cindy had a love for music and singing and was the piano/organ player for several churches including 1st Assembly of God in Laporte, TX. She led Bible quiz, children's choirs, youth choirs and adult choirs as well as worship teams. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ellie Holder; She is survived by her sons, Guy A. Mofley and his wife Andrea, Bryan K. Mofley and his wife Tamara; brother, Guy M. Holder; sister, Kandy Blome and her husband Richard. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Keith Mofley, Megan Pacheco and her husband Tim, Mariah Staub and her husband Jake, Makayla Mofley, Makenzie Mofley, Kaleb Mofley, Nathanael Mofley and his wife Adalida, Landan Mofley and Chloe Mofley; as well as four special great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Cindy was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10:00 am at Faith Assembly — Pasadena, 3940 Vista Rd., Pasadena, TX 77505.
