David is also survived by his grandchildren Angelique and Christian Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. David was a loving son, father and friend and will be truly missed.
A Service of Celebration was held on November 5, 2011 at 9 AM at Clear Creek Community Church. Everyone had an opportunity to sign a river rock to be placed in a memorial wall on David's property.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kovitz, Dr. Wolf and the entire nursing staff of MD Anderson for their excellence in care over the past years.
In Lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made in David's honor to the MD Anderson Cancer Research Fnd (mail in forms will be available at the celebration or you can donate at www.mdanderson.org/gifts/) or the Clear Creek Community Church Go Ministries Fund (Christy Wilson 281-338-5433 ext.107).
