Gaston was unable to attend church for months but his heart belonged to Christ. He would help anyone that needed help. We will continue to pray for Helen during this period. Thank you for being such a Christian couple.

Mr.Pate, what a joy and an honor to know you and a priviledge to take a part in your medical care....you inspired me daily with your courage and positive outlook each day you came to our clinic and always brought joy and laughter to everyone around you, even on days I knew you didn't feel good..you fought a long hard battle and now the victory is yours!!! You are in Heaven with the Angels and I pray you look down on your beloved wife, Helen, with that sweet smile and hugs and reassure her how much you loved her for all the exceptional care she gave to you over the years with your many health issues...I have never seen a woman more dedicated and full of love as I did seeing Helen take care of you..you are both so special to me and I love you dearly! Thanks so much for all the laughter and tears you shared with me..GOD bless you and keep you til I see you again...Sincerely and with love, Cathy Thomas, RN, Chemo Nurse

Gaston was a very dear friend to me and I cherish the many memories I have and especially the time we spent together in recent weeks. His suffering is over now and I find comfort in knowing he is rejoicing in Heaven with our Lord! My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Pate family and I will keep you lifted in prayer during this difficult time. Love you!
