J.B. Breshears Obituary

J.B. (Buck) Breshears, 90, passed peacefully at his home in Deer Park, Texas on April 30, 2021. Buck was born to Robert and Maudie Breshears on December 25, 1930 in Morris, Oklahoma. He attended Liberty High School in Liberty, Oklahoma and graduated in 1948. He married his sweetheart, Bobbie Jean Prince, on October 20, 1955. Buck served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. After serving his country, Buck went to work for Phillips 66 refinery in Pasadena, Texas and retired as a supervisor after 41 years of service. Buck enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Houston Astros.

Buck faithfully attended Deer Park Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jearl and Jack Breshears. Buck is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bobbie Jean; daughter Vickie Miles (Terry) of Deer Park, Texas; grandsons Travis Miles (Anairis) of Deer Park, Texas and Taylor Miles (fiancée Summer Hunter) of LaPorte, Texas; sisters Billye Shelton of Deer Park, Texas and Fern Downum of Springdale, Arkansas; brother Don Breshears of Springdale, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service was held on May 6, 2021 at Grand View Memorial Park.
