Jo Ann Bradley Grider passed away in Pasadena, Texas on October 22, 2013 at the age of 80. She was born on March 16, 1933 in Hermitage, Arkansas to Sam Bob Bradley and Ruby Booker Bradley. Jo Ann was a member of Galena Park United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, Charles Grider; grandson, Mark Embry; brother, Bobby Bradley; and sister, Nina Cloutier. Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Sandy Embry and husband Melvin; son, Paul Grider and Tracy; son, John Grider and wife Kelsey; grandchildren, Karlee, Meagan, Daniel, and Sabrina; sister, Pat Brown and husband Jay; and half-sister Sarah Edwards.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.

I was a co-worker of Jo Ann's at Galena Park ISD Administration offices - her personality was so infectious she taught me so very much.
I have always thought the word of this wonderful lady and hoped that someday to be as classy as she was.
She will be missed.
