J. W. Hamilton 88 of Pasadena Texas passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2017. J.W. Hamilton was born October 24, 1929 in McComb, Mississippi to Everett Wiley and Perla Lee Hamilton. He is survived by his grandchildren Brandi Hoffpauir and husband Joseph, Charles Golden IV and wife Joann; great grandchildren Patrick Golden, Shawn Golden, Kathryn Hoffpauir, and Michael Hoffpauir. J.W. was preceded in death by his wife Aline Hamilton, his daughter Carroll Golden and husband Charles, parents Everett and Perla Hamilton, and brothers Virgil Hamilton and Troy Hamilton. J.W. Hamilton was an active member in the Pasadena Masonic Lodge 1155 for over 50 years where he served twice as Master and as worthy Patron of Order of the Eastern Star #711. J.W. Hamilton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and served as a role model for all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home on Wednesday November 15 th from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Masonic services will be held during visitation at 5:30p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 16 th at 10a.m. at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038.
