Larry Tyrer Obituary

Larry Tyrer, 74, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on December 2nd, 2012. He was born in Ledville, Colorado on February 12th, 1938 to Jack and Jean Tyrer. Larry is preceded in death by one son, Richard Hann, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Ann Tyrer, children Liz Dear of La Porte, Texas, June Wilson of Nacogdoches, Texas, Lisa McCarthy of Buford, Georgia, Sheila Nabors of Snellville, Georgia, Linda Else of Jacksonville, Florida, Larry Tyrer JR. of Jasper, Alabama, Mary Tyrer, Sherrie Grand Jean, Carol Shafer, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jack Tyrer of San Diego, California, David Stillman of Tams, Illinois, 24 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and many other loved friends and family. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 5th, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and services will be on Thursday December 6th, 10:00AM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn 8901 Almeda Genoa Road.

I don't remember him much but I know that he was a great man. He cared for anyone and everyone and always helped others. All of the pictures of him and I are from when I was around 3 or 4 years old. I wish I could have had the honor to get to know him and his wonderful stories. I'm sure him and my Papa Rick are up there right now fishing :) R.I.P. Papa Larry
