Max James Archer, Jr. "Jimmy" was born November 5, 1954 and passed away September 20, 2013. Jimmy was a 1973 graduate from Deer Park High School and is preceded in death by his parents Max James Archer, Sr. and Betty Ruth Rogers Archer. Jimmy was well-known as the "Bingo Guy" and greatly loved by the residents of San Jacinto Nursing Home in Deer Park. He served on their Board and spent hundreds of volunteer hours serving the elderly. Jimmy is survived by his brother, Tommy Archer, of Deer Park; sister-in-law Roni Clark Archer, Deer Park; nephew Todd Archer currently serving with the US Army in Afghanistan and wife Kelley; nephew Max Archer of Rock Island, Illinois; and nephew Brent Archer of Denton, Texas; along with great nephews and nieces. Jimmy will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the Archer family requests donations go to the American Heart Association. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, September 28, in the chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors. Jimmy was an avid Jimmy Buffet "Parrot Head" and the family asks all to wear a Hawaiian shirt to the service in his honor.

My deepest condolences to your family. May you find comfort in knowing that when God restores Paradise, he will undo all causes of suffering. (Ps 37:11) Then our tears of sorrow will become tears of great joy. May your memories continue to provide you comfort at this time of great sorrow.

Mr.Archer was a member of the credit union that I am a teller at. He was always very nice and patient. It was a pleasure helping him. My heart goes out to your family.
