Melissa Hendry Obituary
On April 18th, 2012, Melissa Jan (Acrey) Hendry, went in peace and grace to meet her maker. Melissa, age 49, was born in Corpus Christi, TX on September 21st, 1962 to parents James Ronald Acrey and Janet Francis (Batson) Acrey. She was always dedicated to her children and their true happiness; being a wonderful wife; and a memorable and loving friend and family member; she is truly missed. Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lyle and Freeda Batson and her parents, James and Janet Acrey. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Craig Hendry; brother, Jonathan Acrey; son, Josh Ainsworth; daughter and son-in-law; Jana and Benny Macias, Jr.; and youngest daughter, Leah Hendry. She also is survived by her two grandchildren; Abigail Torres and Aidan Macias; many cousins, friends, and truly wonderful extended family. Memorial services will be on April 28th, 2012 at 11:00am at Niday- Fairmont Funeral Home, 6777 Fairmont Parkway Rd., Pasadena, TX 77505.
To those who wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers, it may be made to: The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's - Lone Star Chapter in the name of Melissa Hendry or Jana Macias.
