Neva Joyce Harrison 78, entered into the arms of her Savior November 29, 2012 while her family was gathered at her side. She was born March 7, 1934 in Kervin TX to Leo Cherry and Mattie York Cherry. She was one of 8 children who were born into the family her 4 brothers and 2 sisters have proceeded in death along with her parents. She is survived by her husband of 61 years James L. Harrison Sr. Son James L. Harrison Jr. her sister Dean Mosteit numerous other relatives and a host of friends. During her life time she was a beauty operator and worked for the Deer Park School District at Deepwater elementary in the food service department. She enjoyed taking care of her family cooking and gardening as time permitted, she was also a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Monday Evening from 4/6PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena TX.77502 with a funeral service being held at 10:00Am Tuesday with Pastor Brannon Revel officiating burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery..
