A celebration of life, for Reta Marie Morgan Graham, affectionately known to so many as, "Mama Reta". God called her to Heaven on Friday evening, September 27, 2013. Born on a farm in Osborn, Missouri on October 16, 1927; her parents, Clarence and Lizzie Marie Morgan and brother, Clyde, and sisters, Mary Josephine, Clarice, and Hannah, and her husband, Robert Louis (Papa Bob) were waiting at Heaven's Gate to greet her. Her earthly family includes: her brother and his wife and family, Clarence and Retha Morgan, daughter and sons, Ruthie and Ken McNeill, Robert and Jan Graham, Richard and Debra Graham, grandchildren, Tammy and Jason Munn, Amy and Nathan Gullett, Jeff Brister, Kaitlin McNeill, Jonathan, Joseph, Kevin, and Rebecca Graham, Amanda and Krystle, and great-grandchildren, Baylee and Bethany Munn, Ethan, Savanah and Aurora Gullett. Other family members include many nieces, nephews, and children that were a part of her life dedicated to caring for them in her home for many years both in Pasadena and Tyler. Mama Reta was a faithful member at the Church of the Nazarene both in Pasadena and Tyler and spent the past several years in Deer Park, Texas worshiping her Lord with her friends at Monument Baptist Church. She was a loving part of our lives and will be profoundly missed by a multitude of extended family and everyone who knew her.
Services were held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 St. Highway 64 West, Tyler, Texas 75704, phone: 903-597-1396. Visitation was held Friday, October 4, 2013 from 2:00-4:00pm then again from 5:00-7:00pm with additional celebration on Saturday, October 5th from noon-2:00pm and services to follow at 2:00pm.
