Roger Allen Neal, 68 of Deer Park, Texas, passed away August 13, 2012. Roger was a member of IBEW LU 66; Member of South Houston No. 1295 A.F.& A.M. Roger served in the U.S. Army. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Milford and Dolly Neal; brother Leroy Neal; son Monroe Strickland. Roger is survived by his wife Betty Neal; Two sons James Strickland and wife Rebecca Walters, Jonathan Neal and wife Tiffany; Three brothers Bruce Neal and wife Kathy, Robert Neal and wife Pat, Mark Neal and wife Helen; Four grandchildren Tyler and Josh Strickland and Colton and Cooper Neal. Memorial services was held 10:00 AM Friday in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors with Pastor Chris Richey officiating.

Betty, I am saddened to hear that Roger had passed. We worked together and retired about the same time from the City.He was a good friend.

Betty, I offer my deepest condolences. I was Roger's apprentice, then his boss, but mostly a excellent co-worker and friend. I am saddened by his passing. God Bless you and your family.
