"Sheila Jean Ginn was born in Dallas, Texas on May 18, 1954. She was raised in Plano, and as a teenager enjoyed modeling for the Dallas Trade Center. She met Tommy when she was twelve years old and he was sixteen years old at a surprise birthday party her mother threw for her. She always said Tommy was the best birthday gift she ever received! Tommy and Sheila got married and moved to Houston in 1981. She was a wonderful, dedicated mother to all three of her children; Thomas Ginn, Stephanie Pulsipher, and Tiffanie Ginn. She volunteered many hours at PTO officers, Team Mom, Homeroom parent, and as a D.A.R.E. parent. She also attended all school awards ceremonies, plays, choir shows, sports games, dance performances, and competitions. She worked as a school crossing guard for the Deer Park Police Department for seventeen years, where she met many people and touched many lives. She became a proud memaw to four grandchildren. She loved to play with Batman, Thomas the Train, and Pirate Jake Toys, or take them to the park. In her spare time, she loved shopping. Finding a bargain made her day! She also loved going to garage sales, and built a reputation for having the best garage sale in Deer Park. She also spent many hours scrapbooking, reading Karen Kingsbury books, watching Deal or No Deal, The Shark Tank, Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Lifetime movies, ""her soaps"", and playing with her dog, Sassy. Sheila was an active community member involved in: Deer Park Chamber of Commerce, St. Hyacinth Sunshiners, Prime Timers, and AARP Chapter 3766. She made many friends through these organizations, and cherished all of her friendships. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Tommy Ginn; three children, Thomas Ginn, Stephanie Pulsipher and husband Robert, and Tiffanie Ginn; Four grandchildren, Cameron, Kayleigh, Preston, and Parker; and two brothers, Jim and Jake Jaco of Dallas, Texas. She will be missed greatly by all. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday November 30, 2012 at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, TX 281-476-4693..

I was just informed of Sheila's passing, such a shock! I so hate to know she's gone so soon and that I didn't know in time to attend the service. It seems like yesterday that I was Stephanie's Girl Scout troop co-leader w/Cindy,& we could always count on Sheila to help w/any project. I still have a heart-shaped pin w/my name and a yellow rose on it that she gave me, from Stephanie, one Valentine's Day during our troop days. Since we moved around the corner from ya'll (Kimswick) after the troop disbanded, I was still able to keep in touch, occasionally, since of course life has been so busy for both of us. I know you'll miss her so much, as will so many, you were blessed to have such a wonderful person loving you so much. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
