VIRGINIA SMEDLEY-HELM Obituary
Virginia Lea Smedley was born to John and Linda Smedley in Pasadena, Texas on November 1, 1972. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 19, 2012. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers John W. Smedley, Isaac G. Mathews, Jr.; daughter Ella Patricia Larsen; aunt Rebecca Mathews. She is survived by her husband, Steven D. Helm; sons Colburn Ray Smedley, Scott Brandon Lowe, Jr.; daughter Avery Nicole Larsen; step-sons Taylor and Tanner Helm; mother Linda Mathews Sitton and husband Dean; father John L. Smedley; sister Cynthia Murphy and husband Mike; brother Andy Wiles; father and mother-n-law Del & Sheila Helm; grandmothers Wanda Mathews, Dessie Smedley.
Interment Feb. 27, 2012
LaPorte Cemetery, LaPorte, TX

Virginia was an amazing woman. I am lucky to have been her husband. She was beautiful, funny, smart. She was a good wife and mother. I love her with all my heart and will always miss that beautiful smile that lit up my life. Rest in peace, babe. I love you.
