Warren Foster Obituary

Warren Foster 1939-2016

Warren Foster of Deer Park, Texas died on September 5, 2016 at home surrounded by his family after a long illness.

Warren was from Vinton, Louisiana. He graduated from Vinton High School in 1957 and earned a B.S. degree in Forestry from McNeese University in 1962. He went to work for Shell Chemical Deer Park retiring after 31 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 6 years.

Warren was predeceased in death by his parents. Ross and Jessie Foster and his sister, Keitha Rodgers.

Warren is survived by his wife, Barbara of 49 years, his daughters, Michelle Large and Kimberly Helton and four grandchildren, Emily and Travis Helton, Tyler and Brandon Large and niece Rona Fossati and nephew Kirk Rodgers.

A memorial service was held at Grandview Funeral Home Chapel located at 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas Friday, September 9, 2016. Visitation was held from 10:00am to 11:00am and service followed at 11:00AM.

Burial at Grand View Memorial Park.

Warren was a special person. I worked closely with him at Shell and also attended McNeese. Warren had a dry since of humor and was one of the nicest people I knew. Love to Barbara, their children and sister-in-law Marcy. Millie

We are sorry that Warren is gone and that he had such a long illness. He loved to attend track meets for his grandsons Travis, Tyler and Brandon and basketball games for Emily. We will all miss him! May you find comfort in the memories of him.
