Although I never met Alice, I felt like I knew her through my friendship with Carolyn. Few conversations passed without Carolyn sharing an Alice story or update. She will be missed greatly. My sincere sympathy goes out to Carolyn and the rest of the family for your loss. Peace to all.

Alice, I celebrate your life! You, the poster person for caring for others, having many long term friends, an advocate for cats, a fiesty spirit and the desire to make things better. I will miss you!
To her family, I am sorry for your loss. Her life was a testiment to a family who encouraged her to grow, question and learn up to the end. Every time an artichoke is served or prepared, think of dear Alice.
