Eline Ruth Paulson

PAULSON-Eline Ruth Paulson, passed away at her home in Temple City with her family present on May 11, 2010. She was born on September 17, 1923 and was preceeded in death by her husband, Berthel Paulson. Eline was born on a farm in Clifford, North Dakota and moved to California with her family in 1957. She is survived by her 6 children, their spouses, and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren: Sylvia and Al Gilmour, Darwin Paulson, Michael Paulson, Renae Paulson, Rodney Paulson & Darrell Paulson: Grandchildren - Kendra Valdez and daughters - Elise and Lily; Jeffrey and Cindy Gilmour & son - Tyler; Stephen and Kelli Gilmour & daughters - Jordan and Brook; Matthew Gilmour; Jacob and Zoe Paulson, Amanda Paulson; Eric Paulson; Christine Paulson; Ryan Paulson; Jessica Paulson; and Nicholas Paulson. Eline is also survived by her sisters: Joyce Beck and Dolores Olson from Fargo, North Dakota; and her brothers: Vernon and Alice Carlson - Fargo, North Dakota and Mervyn and Elva Carlson from Mayville, North Dakota. Eline's strength of character, her wisdom and strong faith in God was evident in her life. Though she had many interests - God, family, and her church family were her greatest joy. The services were held at Rose Hills Memorial Chapel on May 19, 2010.
