It's been extremely hard for me to not see your smile, because I so miss it. You meant so much to so many that go beyond words. I want to thank you for all your candy, I want to thank you for all your good food, I want to thank for the many wonderful Christmas', I want to thank for the many laughs, I want to thank for the wonderful memories that I have of you, and I want to thank God for bringing you into my life. Grandma, I will never stop tearing up in your memory and I will never stop laughing when thinking of the good times we've shared, especially in Vegas (we had such fun!). This organ called "my heart" is empty with you not here, because you filled such a big whole. I love with everything I got and I will miss you until, we meet again.

Life here is only for a moment and the life that we share with God is for an eternity.
I sit back and I pounder about the life of a woman named Ethel McCray.
Her Journey was full of life’s experiences from every which way
It is the joys and struggles that keep us connected to the source.
My grandmother Ethel McCray has now passed the torch
And I hold it with dignity
Humility
And a sense of understanding
She can know rest
In Peace
Covered with Grace
And her heart is imprinted on all our face
And I can go to bed at night knowing that my grandmothers angle eyes
Are imprinted perfectly in the sky.
A woman of virure and of stength
Giving out her smile as a loving gift
Her door at 58 Mountain View was always open
to any one who needed a place to stay, food to eat or just a good time. Family picnics in the park, BBQ’s and fire works on the 4th, Christmas, Thanksgiving and plain everyday livin.
Why is it that everyone called Grandma, Grandma, Its because, it was in her nature to love and nurture. No, Miss McCray was not your average run of the mill grandma, but she was mine. If you ever needed someone to keep it real with you, she was right there to tell it like it is. It's hard to even conjure up words to say about the rock of my family. She was truly the rock the foundation the gift the comfort and the strength.

Missing my Granny.
No more talks..
No more laughs...
No more wondering how long the pain will last.
No more Christmas with the one I love,
for you have been taken home to the Lord above.
I shed my tears and miss you so much. Wondering how could one woman love so many so much?
Everyone saw you in their own special way but I choose to remember the Good times each and every day.
I sit wondering how it would be with you still here to talk to me. What you would say or advice you would give if you were able to see, my unborn kids.
Things aren't the same since you left this earth, but I thank you for the strength you gave to me throughout these years.
The Talks, the wisdom, the fishing trips, The old blues songs you would play, the clothes, the lavish Christmas gifts, You are a Grandma that is truely missed.
Thank you for all of the GOOD things you did , the great things you said, the blessing that you were too many, the people you fed, the love you gave, the food you made, the time you took to listen to our mess, I just want to say I love you Granny, you're the best.
