Jacobus RIPPENS Obituary
Affectionately known as 'Denis' to friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in South Pasadena on March 11, 2014 at the age 82. Loving husband of 41 years of Remy (née Clavel); beloved father of Martin (wife Grace), Michael, and Jacob; proud grandfather of Theodore (named in his honor), Owen, and Hugo; and also survived by his sister Bertha Maas. He was preceded in death by brothers Martin and Harry and sisters Evelyn White and Marie White. Rosary Vigil will be held on Friday, March 21 from 7–9pm, and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 22 at 10am, both services will take place at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena. The interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello. If desired, donations in memory of Denis can be made to the Giving Bank at Holy Family Church.
