Barbara Hultberg Obituary
Born in Minneapolis in 1943, she was raised in Minnesota until she married Richard Hultberg in 1963. Then they decided together to adventure to Alaska where they settled first in Seward, then Kenai, and raised 3 kids and enjoyed 10 grandkids and many family gatherings.
All who knew her were aware she was a gifted artist and craftsperson, who loved her tole painting, and her craft shows. Thorough the Kenai Art Guild she started the now annual Thanksgiving craft fair at the high school to provide art scholarships to high school students. She also started the original Senior Center November craft show in her own home with a group of fellow crafters.
She made sure her home was full of kids, fun, laughter, craft projects, game nights and adopted stray animals. She also loved her bingo and her good luck streaks. Her generosity, thoughtfulness, creativity and great sense of humor will be missed. We hit the mom and grama jackpot and will miss her every day.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Chell Atchley of Kenai; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Becky Hultberg of Oregon; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Mike Dye of Homer. She was a supergrama to 10 grandchildren, Sophie, Brandt, Dane, Evan, Ean, Ellen, Simon, Stella, Izzy and Spencer, who loved her immensely.
In lieu of flowers, her wis was instead to donate to the Kenai Library and spend time celebrating, encouraging and enjoying the blessing of your family and loved ones.

To a very dear family. Mr Hultberg, Lisa, Jeff,and Jennifer. Mrs. Hultberg was so amazing over the years and she holds such a special place in my heart! From her laughter to educating me on puffins.
