Mr. Robert Suder

1964 - 2014

When you have the opportunity to meet certain people, your life remains forever changed in amazing ways. For who they are inside, natural gifts they possess, the fact that all they want to do is give of themselves, to make others happy, improve the world, save a life if they can, and show each person they know light, laughter and love. That was Robert Dale Suder. He always was striving for the absolute best in life. He worked harder than anyone I've ever known to achieve his goals. When Robert graduated from his first 4 years of college here in Alaska, he did not go and walk with his graduating class. He said, "I wasn't done yet." He pressed forward & worked hard. He had a Walkman tape player, & would wear headphones to work each day. He would laugh & say; "Everyone thought I was listening to music like any other kid. I made study tapes, and listened to them all day while I worked." When Robert took the exams for med school he got the highest scores in the nation on one of the most difficult exams. Regardless of what kind of doctor, all take the same exams. Robert then had an amazing opportunity; Berkeley called him up and wanted him to attend their university. He never even applied. Robert had a wife and a baby girl, he put his family first as he always has, and chose to attend Pacific University in Oregon, graduating May 22, 1994. He had so many interests, his mind never stopped absorbing information, life or knowledge. Rob loved to read. Not a day went by that he didn't scour the newspaper, and save them for weekend leisure reading. He loved Stephen King, his favorite movies were 'The Shining' & 'Somewhere in Time'. Robert was born on February 24, 1964, he passed away on January 11th, 2014. He is preceded in death by his sister Michelle Lynn Suder, both his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, & his grandson Grandson Levi. Robert is survived by his wife Amy Suder and children, Kidron Ansel, Joseph Perkins-Ansel, Emma Steffy, Parker Suder, & Daphne Suder. Eldest daughters, Camille Suder & Genevieve Suder, Extended family Xanthe Broyles Zidek. Eldest son, Orion Suder, Daughter Aurora Suder, Extended family Samantha Phelps Larsen. Robert is also survived by Loving Father, Dale Everett Suder, Loving Mother, Barbara Gunsolus, his brother Zachary Alex Clow and, his Aunt Georgie 'Startraveler' Services will be held at Trinity Christian Center Saturday, 1/18/2014.
All are welcome to attend. He was loved by all, & all that loved him will be honored by their attendence. Please address any envelopes to specific families, or family members. Thank you for your consideration on that matter. We appreciate all of our friends and family gathering around us in our time of inconsolable grief. In a time where words are not sufficient, our tears fall in plenty. So thankful for each of the precious children. To the moon...see you in Heaven.
