Samuel Lindsay Clyde

Samuel Lindsay Clyde, 36, unexpectedly passed away December 13th, 2022 as a result of a moose vs car collision. As a lifetime resident of the Kenai Peninsula, Sam was widely known for his unrelenting kindness, quick-witted humor and contagious smile. For the past 16 years, Sam was happily living out his childhood dream of following in his father's footsteps by working as a power lineman for the IBEW 1547. His big, carefree heart loved his family, friends and community tremendously. Sam was a man with many hobbies as his love for figuring out how to do and fix things led him to a variety of interests such as snowmachining, woodworking, fishing and his all-time favorite, fixing broken vehicles. His pride and joy in life was his wife of 14 years, Mandy, and their five children: Tanner, Brycen, Anastasia, Adam and David. He is also survived by parents Thomas and Brenda Clyde and his 3 siblings: Sarah, Tiffany and Lucas as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Please join us at his celebration of life on Sunday, January 15th at Soldotna High School. Doors will open at 4:00 and services will start at 4:30. His family would like to thank the community for all of the love, support and blessings sent their way.
