Sean Wilson Obituary

Sean David Wilson was born April 21, 1971 in Anchorage, Alaska. He passed away in Stayton, Oregon on June 3, 2024 at the age of 53 while on vacation with his fiancé and best friend of 15 years, Barbara Shipps. He was the son of Elsie Maillelle and step-father Mic Hendryx of Ninilchik and James D. Wilson of Nondalton. He was a longtime Kenai and Grayling resident and a 1990 graduate of Kenai Central High School. Sean loved of all things outdoors, especially hunting, camping, fishing, snow machining, and riding his motorcycle every chance he got. But there was nothing in the world that Sean loved more than his two sons: Brandon and Hunter. They were the light of his life and he was very proud of them. Sean also loved to tell stories and one of his favorite topics was when he was the sole owner of Sean's Chenega Charters in Chenega Bay, Alaska. His pride and joy was the Finn Lander, a 53 ft. cabin cruiser and floating two stories B n B that slept 8 people. His clients came from all over the US, and even as far away as Germany, Italy and Canada. He loved meeting new people and taking them hunting and fishing. Sean was a man of many talents. For many years he was heavy equipment and a crane operator, a mechanic for everything that moved and a construction worker/contractor. He never ceased to amaze everyone with his wealth of knowledge and abilities.

Wilson of Nondalton and Mic Hendryx of Ninilchik. Brothers: James D. Wilson Jr, Anthony Wilson, James D. Wilson III, and Daniel Standifer Jr., and Sister: LaVonne Wilson He is survived by his Mother: Elsie Maillelle. Brothers: David Standifer, Jarred Wilson, Keene Hendryx, Harold Wilson and Tony (wife Miriah) Breglia. Sisters: Janice Wilson, Frances Wilson, and Sharon (husband Jack) Williford.
