Vicki Gibbs Obituary
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at Peninsula Memorial Chapel, 5839 Kenai Spur Highway in Kenai.
Vicki was born April 28, 1951 to Kenneth and Jacqueline Robinson in Port Arthur, Texas. She moved to Kenai in 1989.
Her family wrote, "Her big heart and warm smile will be missed by all."
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clark Long.
She is survived by her husband, Marlin "Jake" Gibbs of Kenai; son, Donovan Gibbs of Kenai; grandson, Orion Gibbs of Kenai; mother, Jackie Mize of Soldotna; brothers, Reid Robinson of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Chris Robinson of Sterling, and Geoffrey Long of Kenai; sisters, Lori Mason of Soldotna and Lisa Simonds of Austin, Texas.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel and Crematory.

It's been a year now Vicki Layne and I still miss you. No one to go to bingo with, I did go on your birthday last April, made it tough since Vicki the bingo manager and you not only shared the same name, but the same birthday. Love you lady, glad you are not in pain any longer. See you when it is my time!

Vicki had a heart of gold and she touched many lives with her love, friendship and help.
Family meant everything to Vicki. She loved them all dearly.
Vicki has her wings back now (real ones this time) and she is free again - no longer caged or trapped by a failing body, wheel chair or nursing home. Fly high my friend, I will miss you. Roxy
