David was my best friend growing up. Always admired Dave and wished I could be more like him. I will always remember his big smile and gentle nature. Love you Dave.

My heartfelt condolences to Dave's family. I met Dave while working at Drake's. He always had a warm smile on his face and always honked and waved if he saw me out walking. He will definitely be missed.

Dave purchased Olympic Medical Center's derby ducks from me every year. He talked fondly about his wife Cindy and his love of the outdoors. It was our annual talk for about a half hour!
He was such a friendly, kind man. Our community lost a good soul...

Cindy, I am so so so sorry for your families loss. David was such a great person and so wonderful to chat with when he was at your folks house and we were able to see him. Sometimes we would see him out and about and he would always take a moment to chat.

Hugging you Cindy
It was such a pleasure meeting and talking with Dave at Calvary Chapel when you two visited. I smile with that memory as he was so fun to chat with.

We always loved and enjoyed it when Dave (and Cindy) came into the PA Habitat Store. They were like part of the Habitat family, and we will miss Dave dearly. He was such an awesome person all around. Cindy, we are sending hugs and our deepest sympathies. We hope to see you soon.

We are so sorry for your loss. It was a delight for our mom (Dutch) when your family visited, especially at Christmas. Mom was always interested in what David had to tell her about the park and the trails as my folks did hike a majority of them. Susan (Clarke) and Dan Hopf.
