Richard Bell Obituary

Richard Dean Bell passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 80 due to complications of diabetes, at St. Michael's Medical Center in Silverdale. He was born in October 28, 1940 in Huntington Park, California to Harry and Inez Bell. He graduated from Corvallis High School in Corvallis Oregon in 1959, and earned an AA degree in electronics from Peninsula College and a Bachelors degree from Calvary Baptist College in Kansas City. He was veteran and served in the US Air Force in the sixties. His career was focused on financial planning and consulting.

On August 2, 1969 he married Vivian Mason in Kansas City and they had two sons, Konrad and Keith. She passed away in 1993. In 1999 Richard met and married Stacie Kautz on March 18, 2000.

A private family graveside service with military distinction was held on October 22, 2022 at Mount Angeles Memorial Park in Port Angeles, with Pastor Anthony Sackor of Independent Bible Church presiding, Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel in Port Angeles in charge of arrangements. A reception followed at the family home in Port Angeles.

Survivors include Stacie Bell (wife), Keith Bell of Tacoma, Washington (son); Konrad Bell and wife Carol (son and daughter-in-law) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and April, Champ, Tyler, and Cheryl (grandchildren); Beverly Messenger, of Huntington Beach, California (sister); and nieces – Kelleen Warder and her daughter Brandee Schmitt and her children Cherish and Aayden or Port Angeles Washington; and Kristie Chandler and her daughter Cambria of Huntington Beach, California.

Richard was a long time member of Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles where her served as a Deacon. He was an avid train collector and member of the North Olympic Peninsula Railroaders Club. He loved all animals, especially Olive his beloved Siamese.

We are grateful for our many precious memories with our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle. He will always be in our hearts.
