Charles Moshell Obituary
1925 - 2009
Charles Jones "Chuck" Moshell, age 84, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for over 50 years. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a machinist and metal fabricator with over 36 years at NARF with the civil service. After retirement, he was a substitute teacher in Escambia County.
The joy of his life was children of all ages. He loved spending many hours at Pensacola Beach, always encouraging others to join him for fun, fellowship and the enjoyment of life. He will be remembered as the "Little Gentleman" in Pensacola with all of the corny jokes who never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" McNeil Moshell; parents, Henry Albert and Nell Moshell; two brothers, Henry Albert Moshell, Jr. and Jack Walter Moshell.
He is survived by his children, Peggy Ann Moshell, Jack Ronald Moshell (Michelle "Shelly"), Charles Jones Moshell, Jr. (Sheron) and Norma Ellen Daehnke (Daniel Arthur); 10 grandchildren, Jeffery Moshell, Katie Wolfe (Scott), Matthew Moshell, Jason Moshell, Adam Moshell, Brian Moshell, John Moshell (Jessica), Chad Moshell, Desiree' Lozley (Jason) and Josh Daehnke; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Kimbrough Moshell (Jane); two sisters-in-law, Frances Moshell and Anne Moshell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Father Dominic Phan Sa celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel South from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 4.

Mr. Moshell was our neighbor in the F Building at Villas on the Gulf. We always enjoyed talking to him and hearing his latest joke. We will miss him.
