I knew Jim many years ago when his daughter Tina and my three girls Tina, Lana and Becky played softball together at Myrtle Grove ballpark. They also went to went to Escambia High School together. My middle daughter Lana and Tina were good friends and they graduated together. Jim was one of the good guys.
My sympathy and prayers go out to Jim's family and especially to Tina. May God watch over them and help them through their time of sorrow.

To the family of James Bragan, my wife and I (Trooper Jim and Kay Powell) wish to express our deepest sympathy to your family. I (Jim) was in surgery today and my wife (Kay) is recovering from a recent shoulder surgery. We are sorry to not have been able to attend the service for a friend, co-worker and brother in Christ. May God grant you a peace that surpasses all understanding during this difficult time. We will meet again some day.

Condolences to the Bragan family. It was my pleasure as a sixth grade teacher at Bellview M.S. to share my days with Tina, a bright and dear student. Also, a highlight that year was the day her dad visited the class to discuss his career.

We had a lot of good times visiting and traveling together in the years Jim was married to my sister Eddie. We got to visit Jim and Carleen in their home in Foley. I'm happy he got to have good times with Carleen traveling to Ireland, Russia and other places. My prayers and thoughts for all of Jim's family.

He took the time and allowed me to ride with him many times before I joined the PPD. We had some fun times. Thanks Jim. I have thought of you often over the years.
