I knew Jack during his time with the Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He was a good firefighter and mentor to me during my years there. He taught me a lot about the fire service and about being a human being. He did to guide me to the choices I made.

I met jack while he was working at builders ready mix with my husband at the time and my brother they introduced me and said his name was Fred said his Nick name was Fred Flintstone because he was short they said. Then him and Glenora would come watch pay per view wrestling at our house and I still called him Fred. He finally asked one day why I called him Fred. I said I thought that was your name that's when I found out what his true name was. He was a great man that LOVED his hot sauce (the hotter the better and peanut butter. He would eat it on anything and anything made with it. I just found out that Jack passed I feel so sad that I didn't know sooner. Glenora I am so sorry if there is anything I can do please let me know. RIP Jack.

I knew Jack from the Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department. I remember Jack as always being soft spoken and easy going, a great person to be around. Jack performed his duties at the fire department with due diligences and in a timely manner. My thoughts and prayers are with Jack's family. I will remember well of my time spent around Jack at fire department. Mark Caro

Jack was my Captain when I made Lieutenant at Myrtle Grove. He help to teach me what an officer in the fire service needs to be. I have always looked up to Jack and will miss him. Rest in peace my old friend.
