My family and I send our thoughts and prayers to Marks wife and children. Mark was my Command Career Counselor onboard the USS Ticonderoga (CG-47) in Pascagoula, MS. where I served as Command Master Chief from 1997 to 1999. Rest in Peace and Fair Winds and Follows Seas.

My wife Marcia and I both knew Mark when he was in the Navy. He was a genuine pleasure to be around and we always enjoyed his company and his great sense of humor. God bless each member of the extended Reed family. We know you will miss Mark as we certainly also do.

I knew Mark while he was serving up here in Norfolk, and he contributed his great talent by making the Flag Box for my retirement ceremony. I cherish it, and his memory. He will be missed.
