Rita Zengotita Obituary
1962-2013
Rita Marie Zengotita, age 50, of Pensacola, FL and formerly Baltimore, MD, passed away in the company of family and friends on October 6, 2013 after a 14 year battle with cancer.
Rita was born on November 27, 1962 in Baltimore, MD. Rita was an Angel on earth who was known for her kindness and caring heart. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a love for art and crafting and that passion helped her keep focused on the beauty in life rather than the illness that she had been fighting for so long.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Dolores Ferenc.
Survivors include: her husband, Carlos; sons, Anthony and Jon; daughter-in-law, Jenna; two grandchildren, Christian and Dominic; siblings, Philip, Valerie, Mark, Nora and Rose; and her loving family pet, Callie.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the NAS Pensacola Officer's Club on October 25, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either the American Cancer Society or Covenant Hospice of Pensacola.
Rita was challenged with cancer but always living with the love of her family and friends. She will be sorely missed. "Peace and Blessings" to you Rita!

Jon and Jenna, We are so sorry for your loss remember the precious moments you had with your mother and keep her memory alive in the heart of your children make sure they known what a beautiful and brave woman your mother was and that she loves you and them and is watching over you all. Life will always be full of things we don't always understand but surly God has a plan. We love you all and will be praying for God's comforting hand to be on your shoulder and that he will heal your heart.

Rita Zengotita...not just my patient, but my new found very special friend - forevermore - because though this life we live on earth is short and appears to come to an end, this is not the rest of story. Because of the work of Jesus Christ, what appears to be the end is simply a prelude to a death-free eternity. We are comforted knowing you are in God's presence where there is life and fullness of Joy! So please reserve a place at our beloved Lord's table close by you when my hour arrives my sweet and precious friend.
Until then, enjoy and all heaven has...and I will see you again.
