Stan,
There's too many memories over 29 years to list but I just want to let you know how special you were to me and to my family. Growing up I watched you on the soccer fields and always looked up to you. Now I truly believe that you "are my hero". Your unbelievable courage, faith, determination, love and heart to get through some of the most incredible challenges thrown into your life and those that love you, was absolutely astonishing and admirable. You even amazed a lot of doctors! I only hope in my life's adversities I can have 1/2 of those attributes to get me through. I will never forget my daily phone calls and the crazy dating jokes you'd always play on me (When I ever get married - who's going to stand up and object now?) but you'd always end every conversation with an "I love you honey". You were a second dad to me and a huge hole is in my heart. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. Thanks for being a great friend. Watch over us and we shall meet again! God bless, much love - Kris

I truly appreciate Coach Kaplan teaching me the love of soccer. He taught me dicipline, determination and finesse. I am a soccer coach today because of him. I often think about what he would do in a situation on the field. I will keep close to my heart my years of playing soccer for Stan. He was my inspiration. I'll always remember "Rob, stay home!" My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear about Stan's death. I admired him as a coach and greatly appreciate what he instilled in my son, Rob. His coaching abilities were outstanding and Rob uses them now as a guide to his own coaching career. May God bless each and every one of you. Stan will be sorely missed. I cherish the 4 years with "our" soccer family.

Love,
Hope
