To Mommy and Daddy,
My heart goes out to you and your family. You are a special family because God chose you to take care of this precious angel! I know how hard it must be to have to give him back, but he will always be with you in your heart. Cole is in a better place now were he is looking down on you smiling and playing with no pain or suffering. I am saying a prayer for you because losing a child is the hardest thing you will ever know. Here is a special poem written by a friend. Be strong Your special baby angel is watching over you!!!

WHERE HAS THE SUN GONE TO TODAY?
WHY WON'T IT SHINE AND WARM MY WAY? EVERYTHING'S DARK, THERE'S CLOUDS EVERYWHERE. I'M LOOSING MY WAY BUT DOESN'T ANYONE EVEN CARE. GIVING IT UP SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY WAY LEFT THAT I CAN SEE. IT DOESN'T SEEM WORTH IT TO TRY AND HANG ON CAUSE EVERYTIME I TRY, THERE'S JUST ANOTHER FALL. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TEACH ME? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY? WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN? COULDN'T THERE HAVE BEEN ANOTHER WAY? I DON'T UNDERSTAND I JUST WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO NEXT, BUT I HAVE NO CLUE. SHOULD I JUST GIVE UP AND THROW IT ALL IN, CAUSE I DON'T FEEL ANYMORE THAT IS A BATTLE I CAN WIN. I CAN'T DO IT ALONE, I CAN'T MOVE ON FROM HERE. I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO PROMISE THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS BE NEAR. CAUSE IT'S HARD ENOUGH KNOWING THAT YOUR REALLY NOT HERE. THIS BITTERSWEET ENDING I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY GOD TOOK MY PRECIOUS BABY BACK INTO HIS HANDS. THE SUNSHINE WILL COME BACK ONEDAY AND THE HURT WILL SEEM TO FADE, BUT FOR RIGHT NOW I MISS MY PRECIOUS BABY AND I JUST WONT HIM TO STAY. I WILL BE FREE ONE DAY FROM ALL THE HURT AND PAIN BUT FOR NOW I AM HURTING BECAUSE YOU TOOK HIM HOME TODAY.

My prayers are with you
Sincerely, Melissa Todd

Wendi & Travis, Cole is now soaring with the angels enjoying his wings, free from pain and suffering. Such an awesome little boy, his journey was hard but he helped to educate many, may you continue where he left off. May God comfort you as only he can in the days and weeks to come. Cavan, a most special big brother, so loving, gentle and caring. It takes special parents to raise such great children and you are the best. Love to the three of you.
