Wayne Russell Barr, beloved husband of 55 years, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 75 on April 10, 2010. Wayne was born in Washington, D.C. on December 2, 1934 to Gayle and Patricia Barr. He married Joyce Livesay, also of Washington, D.C. in September of 1954.

I was so very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing this week. As a fellow amateur radio operator, Wayne and I would cross paths from time to time. He was very well thought of in the amateur radio community and will certainly be missed. My best wishes and prayers go out to the Barr family in this time of need.

Wayne was such a great person to both myself and my wife as he would drop anything was doing to come help out someone and his wife or Joyce was very kind too to both of us as well and both always shared with not only us but, anyone that came to know the two of them. Wayne wil surely be missed and Joyce my wife and me thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you two have done and did for us.
