William Campbell Obituary
1928-2008William E. "Bill" Campbell, age 80 of Pensacola, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at a local hospital. Bill was in the automobile industry for 62 years and was the owner of University Volkswagon, Bill Campbell Porsche- Audi, and Bill Campbell Imports. Bill was a former National Champion Formula V Racer. Fishing was his favorite hobby.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Duff (Dennis) and Mary Gribble (Allan); sons, William E. Campbell (Becky), Charlie Campbell (Kaye), Kenny Campbell (Darla) and Tommy Campbell (Maggie); the children's mother, Barbara Campbell; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin D. Campbell and sister, Mildred Webb.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Reverend Andy Gartman officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME NORTH, 1000 Highway 29 South, Cantonment, FL is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
Memorials may be made to Escambia County Humane Society or The Building Fund at Allen Memorial Methodist Church in Cantonment, FL.
