Linda Sands Obituary

Thornville Linda Ann Miller Sands, age 78, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Linda was born on August 17, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bernard E. and Martha M. Miller.

A devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Linda loved spending her weekends at yard sales, always finding joy in simple treasures and good company.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Pete Sands; her daughter Chris (Dave) Downing; her sons Robert (Tammy) Sands and Randy (Janette) Sands; her brother Steve (Peggy) Miller; and her sister Susan (Roy) Green.

Linda was a proud grandmother to Bryan (Allison) Hansen, Douglas (Jaime) Hansen, Heather (Tyler) Dutton, Jeffrey Sands, and Kyle (Madison) Sands; and a cherished great-grandmother to Zachary Hansen, Connor Hansen, Cooper Hansen, Barrett Hansen, and London Dutton. Linda is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Miller and Thomas Miller.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no visitation or formal services.
