Bennett was a great man and a great father. I got the pleasure of knowing him back in the '90s when I served in the USN and became friends with his daughter, son-in law and family. He will be sadly missed, but I'm sure he will continue to watch over his family from a greater place.

I love you daddy! I still can't believe that you're really gone and I can't imagine the milestones ahead without you. I know you want me to be strong and I will, but having to let you go is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I miss you and will always love you more that you could imagine.

Sandi: My wife Rita and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. We met Bennett several years ago when we moved to Cape Charles. He was pleasent, caring and was always willing to help us. We will miss him and his frequent visits to stop by and chat.

Sandi, I am so sorry about your dad. We have been cousins for so long I can't even think about him not being here.He will always be Ben Jr. to me even though others refer to him as Bennett. We always had so much fun when we were together and I always kidded him about me being his favorite cousin and that he, Roy and Billy were older than me. I loved him very much and will miss him with all my heart.If there is anything I can do just let me know.
