Dane Crockett Obituary
Dane D. Crockett BEAVERTON, Oregon - Dane Dewitt "Butch" Crockett, 61, May 21, 2008, in his home in Beaverton. A native of Norfolk and a graduate of Maury High School, he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 25 years of service as a construction inspector and also worked for seven years with the USDA as a construction analyst. He is survived by his wife, Junko Crockett; a daughter, Joy Crockett of Virginia Beach; a sister, Brenda Crockett McGee; brothers, David Johnson of Lynchburg, Va., and Daniel Johnson of Boones Mill, Va.; a grandchild, Christina Lynch of Chesapeake; and his former wife, Jennifer Stohl. Per his wishes, his ashes will be taken to Okinawa Island where he and his wife first met. The family will receive visitors from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the home of his sister, 1101 Brandon Court, Chesapeake, 410-4484.
