I offer my deepest sympathy at this time to each of you that God may guide you safely throughout your moments of pain

September 13, 2012

Mrs. Andrews and family,

I knew Darryl (although I called him Drew) from the Army. We were squad leaders together at Fort Lewis. I remember the many accomplishments and words of wisdom he shared with me. I also served in the same battalion with him at Fort Story.
Drew was a GREAT NCO and leader, I know that his legacy of leadership continues to live on with many Soldiers even today.

I remember helping fix the van window and him suprising me with a sweet potato pie that he said "my lovely wife made".
Drew is sorely missed, please accept my condolences.
