Dennis Edwards Obituary
Chesapeake - Dennis Howard Edwards, 64, died September 19, 2018. Dennis was born to the late Ralph Lee and Rachel Creech Edwards. He was an avid fisherman, music lover, and dedicated sports fan. Dennis always stayed current with the latest politics, and enjoyed smoking ribs, much to the delight of his friends and neighbors.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Debbie Edwards; children, Jenifer L. Corbett (Sean) of Nelson Co., VA and Ben Hall (Christa) of Chesapeake; brothers, Micheal Edwards (Laurie) of Hobe Sound, FL and Tracy Edwards of Lynchburg, SC; grandchildren, Nate, Mason, Gabby, Ryan, Grace, and Brady; and treasured friends Sharon and Jim Spicer of Chesapeake VA. and Mike and Sandra Pilcher of Milton FL. There are a host of other family and friends too numerous to count.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake with a life celebration service immediately following. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.tmcfunding.com. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Dennis was a lovely man. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I remember him as one of the kindest people I have ever met. He taught me about bluegrass music, a music form I still love today. My condolences to Dennis's family.
