Edward Eichhorn Obituary
Virginia Beach - Edward E. "Ed" Eichhorn, 74, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in his home.
He was born in Southampton, NY, to Edward G. and Alberta F. Eichhorn. Ed retired from Bell South in 1992 after 28 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of Tin Can Sailors and a proud engineer of WLNG Radio Station in Sag Harbor, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorraine G. Eichhorn; his son, Anthony E. Eichhorn; daughter, Michelle Roberts and husband Scott; grandson, John E. Roberts; granddaughter, Megan Roberts; two sisters, Sharon Einsmann and Kathryn Schuttler, both of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com
