Frances Haddock Obituary
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Haddock; her son, Wayne Haddock and his wife Laure; her cousin, who was like a sister to her, Iris Lee Selden; and four grandchildren, Joseph, Maria, Emma and Elaina Haddock.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 5615 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth 23701. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 - 7:30 PM at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial was private in Riverside Memorial Park in Norfolk.

Frances and I met 33 years ago at Park View Elementary where we both taught. We formed an immediate bond of friendship and support. I will always cherish the time we spent together and the adventures we shared both at school and on a personal level. Our families also bonded and we remained close even when we left VA and moved to FL. Rest in peace my dear friend, you've earned your wings. Give Bob a hug and let your sweet parents know that The Frye's sign still hangs at our front door. Angels forever my friend.
